From Debrecen to Las Vegas: the story of a gymnast. Based on the real life experiences of the brother of writer/director Szabolcs Hajdu, “White Palms” tells the story of Dongo, a young gymnastics student. Creating a unique story structure, Hajdu inserts telling scenes from the boy's painful past into a present of redemption in which a fully-matured, medal-winning Dongo must train an arrogant Canadian teen to be a world champion.
