KIFF Opening Party with PLUXUS

The Kaunas International Film Festival Opening Party will be at the underground garage in BLC (K.Donelaičio st. 62/ V.Putvinskio g. 53, Kaunas) on 29th September.
Guests of the evening include: PLUXUS - the electronic music group from Sweden, and Lithuanian electronic musical artists.

This party is joint festival of music and cinema. PLUXUS love cinema and cinema loves them. PLUXUS - Sebastian Tesch, Adam Kammerland and Anders Ekert - are true pioneers on the Swedish music scene. They came from a traditional background but quickly realized that guitars weren't as much fun as old synthesizers and machines. They soon developed their own unique sound using vintage synthesizers, samplers, computers and other machines. Their first release was almost 10 years ago and they have, to date, released 4 CDs, a couple of EPs and a series of remixes and single tracks that have popped up here and there. The new album "Solid State" was released in late 2006 and shows the new, darker, but also more club-inspired direction of Pluxus' music.
PLUXUS played at the Closing Party of Goteborg International Film festival.
