Małgorzata Szumowska's film "33 Scenes from Life" is a deeply human story. Julia, played by German actress Julia Jentsch, is a successful artist that is step by step loosing the grip of her destiny. Julia's family is full of eccentric characters, the father a filmmaker and the mother a writer. The idyllic family ties suddenly change when life has a profoundly disturbing effect on them. Life will bring them closer and farther from each other.
