Three cities. Three love stories. One night in Europe. A middle-aged woman, Ukrainian emigrant, and a former Serbian boxer are separated from German society by a language barrier. They have a common ground - Slavic culture and their own children who are still living in Ukraine and Serbia – what makes them stay there?
About the director:
Born 1983 in Kiev, in the former Soviet Union. She acquired her Bachelor degree at the Taras Schevchenko University in Kiev (international analytics). During university studies she was an actress at the theater „Black Square“ and worked as a freelance journalist for different newspapers. In 2004 Daria was doing an internship at the Shakespear Theater in Bremen. In 2005 she started her studies at the University of Television and Film in Munich which she completed in 2011. EASTLAGIA is her debut film.
